Which are your favorites stories / parables from the bible?

This question is addressed to everyone that ever read the bible or has heard of the stories of it regardless if they believe it or not.
So, even if you might not believe the bible at all, what is your favorite story out of them all?
For me it is hard to pick one as most of them are really interesting. One of the most interesting that I can think of right now is the one between Cain and Abel. It is probably deeper than what it looks like at first sight.
Can you pick one or two out of the many stories, parables that you consider them to be your favorites?

I am Hindu so never really got the chance to read the bible.But I wanted to read it from a long long time. Because I don't like relying on interpretations of other. I like to perceive things on my own.

I love the story of Job. He loved God very much and was a loyal servant to God and was tested to prove to the Devil that his service to God was true. I loved how he persevered and proved that God is the Most High.

You are right the story about Cain and Abel is deeper than in looks. I also remember the one of Abraham who brought his son Isaac to Mount Moriah, where, at God's command, he had to sacrifice his son. At the last moment, Abraham was stopped by the angel of the Lord.
