Day 93
Psalm 93
Psalm 93:1 The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes thine house, O LORD, forever.
We all need something to hold onto, to believe in. We need to know that when our world is falling apart, there will always be someone who isn’t, and that is God.
God is never changing. He is eternal, without beginning or end. He is mightier than any force of nature he created, and his Word is truth. If he said it, he will do it. God has never reneged on a promise, or changed anything in his law. All the promises he gave, except one, have been fulfilled, and that is the second coming of Jesus Christ, which according to the signs given for his second coming, will be soon.
Have you put your faith and trust in God, who will never fail in anything he says or does? God can be counted on, nothing else in life can be.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for being holy and eternal. Thank you for your Word which is truth. Help me to praise you for who you are every day because you alone are worthy of my praise. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

There is always something reassuring in the second coming.
