Sad , That It Has To End Soon

Yes, I feel sad because my husband will finally be resigned from his job comes July 05 . 
It means our nightly walks from where both of our office is , to the city, where we will take a ride to our house will also end already . Our nightly gazing together at the sea first ( a picture I took is attached with my husband by the sea deck on one of those nights ) , before finally going for that walk, will also end .
I will instead be again taking the e-jeep with my officemates. It isn’t a lonely trip , because I have my officemates as companions.
But , of course it is more romantic and nice to walk with my husband .
I suppose you guys feel the same if activities such as this, is done with our partners .

Retirement is also a sad and happy event in one's life . Sad because you won't be seeing your former officemates everyday . Happy because you finally don't have to wake up early to go to work anymore .

That walk on the sea deck won't end if your husband comes to fetch you from work and the two of you continue with that romantic walk before going home That would be very sweet of him. Will he be 60 by July 5?

How i wish he can find work where he can fetch me after office hours .
No, he has just turned 51 . He got the early retirement offer as the team leader of a leading courier company two years ago . He went into buy and sell of second hand cars , but after selling the two cars , i told him to just go back to work again . But he doesn't like the fact that he isn't the boss of an office anymore .

We always stop by here for about 5 minutes to simply gaze at the waters , the stars and the Mayon Volcano while savoring the sea breeze too . What a nice way to relax , before going for that walk not hand in hand but with me holding at his arms , lest he runs away from me .

@epiffanie Oh so it's there that you stay when in Legazpi . I think next time you come to Embarcadero Hotel where you will get this view each day and you get to go to the nearby Legazpi Boulevard where a row of restaurants by the beach is being offered .

@SIMPLYD We usually stay at the Airport hotel when we are Legaspi.. We enjoy walking up and down the carpark there at sunset and just enjoy the view of the Mayon ..

Are you kidding me? at least you had fond good memories with your hubby having night walks like that. I never had that experience, but I've been places close to that volcano.

oh i felt that way too last December my husband also resigned from his job...
But now i love to go home early because he is there waiting for me...
He resigned because of his health problem and now i am happy that he gained his weight again and hoping to have a good health like before.

So we both are in the same situation now . But i am praying that hubby will find a job soon .
I am happy for you that your husband is now having a good health . Well, if you can provide well , then it will be better that he be just at home and take care of the house or the kids if there is one already .

Everyone retires from a job and so would he and so would you in due course of time. You should accept the reality and find out other ways to go along with your husband for a walk.

He didn't . He gets stressed on some aspects of the job . In addition , he doesn't like his lady boss who is a slave driver .
But i know , it's because he is used to being the boss in his former job . So , he doesn't find it nice that he has a boss and is a woman .

He says he isn't happy working anymore . His lady boss is a slave driver he said . So i just let him because anyway , i don't want him to be stressed and get sick out of it .

it's hard to mistake that perfect cone. it can only be the philippines' mt. mayon. i've always loved your pictures of bicolandia's pride, but never thought it could also be just as beautiful at night.
i'm surprised at this turn of events. didn't realize he was unhappy there. does he want an office job again, or something with fieldwork, or go into business again?

I am happy to know that my pictures of Mayon always entertain you . And you are right , it's the first time i had it pictured at night . Yes, still beautiful even at night .
I know that he is already unhappy at his work which i gave to him through my boss . From what i can surmise , he seem not fine with a boss because in his former company he was the boss .
I leave it to him what to do next . He has submitted his resumes and i hope he will find a suitablel job soon .
Business is not for him , that's what i have observed .

Yes, he joined one of our affiliate courtesy of my boss , just last November.
January , he submitted a resignation , but was instead promised a new assignment . He thought he would like it but , he didn't .
I let him resign again this time because i know he isn't happy working there .
I hope he finds another job that will suit his taste .

@trivia79 He is an accounting graduate only . He didn't pass the CPA Board exams . The only CPA in their department is their lady boss .
The lady boss likes him , but maybe because she thinks she's new , he won't complain if she keeps adding up his tasks .

I actually can feel your husband right now. Last week, 17th, I passed my resignation paper..it's long overdue actually. Been wanting to do that for sometime now just waited for the right timing. I want to go and take my Masters Degree (long overdue too!) or take professional education certificate so I can teach :)
I will end my contract on July 30..so a still few more weeks but I will miss the days when my husband will come and get me from my office too..and we would sometimes not yet go home but end up having "short dates" but I am surely looking forward to more time with my kids!!! yay!!

So you too will be resigning . You have lots of valid reason to resign indeed .
Actually , my husband already submitted a resignation letter last December . But another job was offered to him . So he took it . But it seems his best isn't enough and he gets stressed , he told me , so he has to resign .
But in my mind , he doesn't like his lady boss , who keeps adding other assignments so he resigned .
See , so you too enjoyed your short dates with your husband . Sometimes, when there is ease in doing it like you being picked up , and us on the same work place , it is an added bonus to us , because we don't have to dress up and go out anymore , because we are already there .

Wow, you have a great view of that mountain. Is that Mayon Volcano?
Sad to know that your husband's work will be until July 5 only. He should start looking for a new job already.So, no more romantic walks also.
Anyway, you still have so much time with each other because you will still be seeing each other everyday.

Yes, that's Mayon Volcano indeed .
Actually , he has started scouting for another again . And hopefully he can get one soon , one that is to his liking .
You are right we will still be seeing each other everyday still . And i think it's still romantic because we will not be seeing each other for about 9 hours each day .
