Bunk bed for my girls

My husband went to look for some bunk beds for the girls. It's something that we've been talking about for a while. My girls' mattresses are done, and my youngest daughter is outgrowing her small toddler bed. So, we just figured it'd be best to get a new bed all together. We thought a bunk bed would be fun. So that they both get a new bed.
Besides, my son will be needing to get out of his crib, and he would therefore need a bed as well. Hence the idea of a bunk bed for my girls and the bed my eldest currently has will go to my son.
Yes, it means that it's costly, as it means one bunk bed, and two-three mattresses. But I think we can make it work.

Wow, poor little guy. We were going to have my eldest on the top, and my youngest daughter on the bottom. We've explained it to them, and when we talked to them about it, they were alright with it. It could all change, but we're going to stick to that.

@ilocosboy Well, we seem to have found one that they like, and both seem to like, which we're happy about. So, we've put a little money down, and we'll pay the rest next week when we get some money in.

Good that your daughters love bunk bed. My daughters didn't like it, for they wanted a bed for their own and hated that someone is above them hahaha.

@Macarrosel, Our beds here are so cheap compared to the prices of beds abroad, so expensive. That is why in our place we can have one bed each.

Too bad you couldn't find a good used one. We thought about keeping the set his mother left in our trailer, but decided to sell them. They are costly when brand new.

@dodo19 we are still trying to sell them. People want to pay little to nothing for them.

@ElusiveButterfly well, once they're sold, that money might help, and it'll make room in the trailer.

Young people with children are faced with a lot of costly needs. And besides all, they usually buy too many toys to their children.

Some bad accidents happen on bunk beds. I bought a bunk bed but set up as twins.

Putting our children in a room and also in a one bunk bed, it can add their closeness as siblings not like when they are at each other's room and each bed, they we're not that closed, like us siblings. In my case, I also buy my boys a bunk bed and yes, they were very noisy before going to bed but their relationship as brothers, they are really closed.

My grandkids refuse to sleep in separate rooms and therefore have bunk beds. I was surprised to see how cool they are now. There are drawers built into the steps leading to the top bed. I'm sure your girls will love it for years to come!!!!

That seems like a great solution. We had bunk beds that you could separate and that's a good option, if ever you need to.

@dodo19 yes, but it's nice to have the option later! And they do save room!

I had two daughters and two stepdaughters with different marriages and we had bunk-beds until we got a bigger place.

I think the bunks are the answer, they take up less room too.
