They went to a theater play

I couldn't sleep early last night because I had to wait for them. Mom left late afternoon with her friend, and then two others rendezvous with them.
Mom isn't fond of watching plays but the person in the middle who's probably lead actor or something is her student. Not to mention, she was invited to this play for free 
and probably not the first time too.
That's probably the benefits of being a good teacher, you are remembered for it and she is proud of every single one of them.

The students must have really loved your mom, she has really touched their lives. Asa fellow teacher I feel good and humble to see how loved and respected your mother is.

well, she did straighten them up and put more time than any one else to teach them how to read @responsiveme now they're mostly successful in their lives.

@responsiveme she was the best teacher in their grade. too bad there was nobody that replaces her.

@Letranknight2015 that's what i meant. The students are smart enough to know who cares for them...disciplinarian or not.:)

I love going to theatres and watch plays specially musical ..
That's is great outing for your mom .. And yes, great teachers are never forgotten ..

That's nice that your mother got a free ticket to the theatre. Even if she isn't very fond of the theatre, I do think it is more interesting when you know someone who is in it.
