Watch out for potential Firefox hacking attempt!

I just clicked on another MyLot user's ID and what came up was a screen that said "Urgent Firefox Upgrade! - Click here". I've never seen Mozilla (owner of Firefox) do anything like that, and I noticed that the url of that window was an odd one. So I didn't click. I closed Firefox and reopened it, because sometimes they will legitimately ask you to do that. But there was no upgrade. I very much suspect that this was an attempt to get unsuspecting users to click on a button that would download malware to their computer. So, be careful!

Unfortunately, they are becoming more and more accomplished in their schemes. We have to be on our toes!

It has all become beyond weird, hasn't it? Everything can be hacked (even our phones) and we always have to be on the alert.
