If you feel that, they won, and you are not far to become depressed. You should look at things differently : if they do not understand how great you are, it is not your fault. Keep in mind this saying "Don't speak to stupid people, you might teach them something", so why would you make the effort to explain them something

Hmmm... honestly, Peter, right this minute, the rest of the world can go hang. I am concerned about only one person who feels abandoned, abused and neglected.
Possibly, if the rest of the world feels the need to post similarly, they can each take a turn posting here and see how much support we are willing to offer them to bolster their feelings. (I can only speak for myself, but until one certain person feels better about herself, I won't have any sympathy to spare for the rest of the world.)

Nor, or so I believe, should you apologize for letting your feelings out on myLot. This site and the people who use it are here for things just like this. It allows us to show we are human, not machines or unfeeling creatures.
This site also allows people who know you to express those things which you do/say that make/made a difference to us, which shows the value we see in you/your words/your deeds.
We all are important/valued and loved. Yep! Even you!

You are important and you matter to everyone, please be sure about it.
Don't feel disheartened by attitude shown by some nasty people (if such is the case), actually they do not understand that how wise and mature you are.

Uhm... possibly by the strength of your back or the sweat of your brow, YOU?
Relying upon myLot to supply the bread you eat requires diligence and fortitude... both of which you have amply demonstrated here and in your real life.
Perhaps, if you were to post discussions we can also reply to more often than seems to be your habit, you would know from where the bread for your meal will come? (Just a personal (and uncalled for) observation.)
Some of us may feel a keen lack of interaction with you on occasion, as well. (Just sayin'!)

You are mistaken. You are important and valued by many people, not just in the real world, but by people on myLot, as well.
I don't know what has happened to cause you to feel this way, DJ, but you should be able to tell you/your contributions on myLot are valued beyond measure, at least by some of us. (Do you honestly believe I would bother asking a GIRL about some of the things I talk with you about if I did not place a huge amount of trust in her/you? Especially a GIRL from another country who may or may not understand what I'm even talking about?)
Sometimes, it is hard enough talking to my best friends about something... Yet, I have repeatedly ask your opinions and yes, even your feelings about subjects very dear to me. Both on the open forum and via pm's.
Anyone who treats you as if you don't matter/your opinions don't matter/your feelings don't matter.... Well, there must be something seriously wrong with him/them... Maybe it is time you suggested someone should see a psychiatrist to have his/their head(s) examined? (Yeah, I am probably misunderstanding something here, but I can be forgiven this once, I believe.... My trusted guide(s) in matters of this type have been curiously absent lately, so I couldn't get her/their view(s) on this matter before giving my best thoughts/opinions/feelings on this discussion.)
I do hope this helps you realize how I feel about this subject... (You know guys, we never say anything about feelings or sloppy sentiment. Someone might think we were not he-men if that were to happen!

@MsTickle I have felt that it is a choice. Sometimes I can distract myself and start to feel better. But other times it is quiet difficult. And then there are times I want to let myself feel it because suppressing those emotions aren't good for my health and psyche.
