while I am sitting here and writing as the grill getting fired up.
We are having hamburgers,baked beans,corn on the cob.
Have you had your corn this year?
After coming home getting my new car.I feel that Mike did so much running around for me.Decided to make a pie.I had enough rhubarb and put some strawberries in,
We will have this tonight to see if it is edible or not
It was a lovely afternoon as we sat mostly out back and just enjoy the sounds of Summer and Nature .With humming birds pecking at the poppies and the wind chimes is making lovely music.I loved it.The peace and quiet.
Will let you know how the pie taste tomorrow.This is my first with the strawberries.

I am so pleased you can sit out in peace and quiet Fredo..you and Mike are blessed with that.
That pie looks divine. I have not ever made rhubarb with strawberries but have made rhubarb pie.

That pie looks delicious! My Mom used to make the best rhubarb pie. She would serve it with Vanilla ice cream. How do you eat yours, by itself or with ice cream?

I have never eaten rhubarb. It doesn´t grow in this part of the world. But I would be willing to try it. BTW, my tongue in nut sauce was a huge success!

Rhubarb mixed with strawberries in a pie is pretty darn good. I hope that it turned out just the way you hoped. This year we planted both rhubarb and strawberries, but it won't be until next year that we will be able to harvest enough :(

that is great there.I have to buy my rhubarb in the market.I prefer to get them in the garden.

sounds nice, I'm just going to cook a load of pasta with some sort of sauce.
I really like rhubarb and used to eat it raw as a kid and I always liked rhubarb crumble for pudding.
