John Blake reports the news on Saturday the Texas Rangers have activated from the 15 day disabled list right handed pitcher A J Griffin. Griffin had been on the 15 day disabled list since May 8, 2016 with a strain of his right shoulder. Griffin had pitched three games for the Frisco RoughRiders which is the Rangers AA minor league baseball team during his rehabilitation assignment. To make room for Griffin on the Rangers 40 man roster, the Rangers have placed right handed starting pitcher Colby Lewis on the 60 day disabled list with a strain of his right lat muscle which will take at least two months to heal. Griffin will be the starting pitcher for the Rangers on Saturday evening when they host the Boston Red Sox at Globe Life Park in Arlington Texas.

That is true that losing Lewis will hurt the team for the time being.
