I am waiting for my daughter to come to pick me up. She will also go and get my aunt. I hope she brings her husband´s car as her only has 2 doors. And guess who will have to get in the children´s seat? There is also a retriction so I don´t really know if Claudia will have her car. The air is so polluted that we are in emergency. But she told me that she and Rafael never had restriction on the same day. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Do you have pollution where you live? If it is a yes, how do authorities deal with the problem?

@Bluedoll Mountais , yes. We have the Andes. We dress as anyone does in the western hemisphere: duller in winter, more colorful in summer. And I live in a big city where everyone is stressed. It takes hours to reach our homes from work due to car jams. There are over 7 million people living here.

We do have pollution here pretty regularly in the summer and when we do, they give everyone free public transportation so they can leave their own cars at home and travel more safely.

Here they restrict the use of the cars by the digits of the circulation permits.

@marguicha wow that's interesting! I like hearing how different places deal with the same problems.

I have never lived anywhere that we had restrictions due to pollution. I have lived with watering restrictions and gasoline limits, long ago. I am dealing with a little localized pollution from the guys working across the road but hopefully they will be gone in a day or two. I will be gone all day tomorrow.

Our pollution is so big that we have not been allowed to use chimneys for decades.

Our city has too many people so pollution is normal.
