My Wonderful Day

Unlike a couple days ago when I had the worst possible day in a very long time, today was the opposite and very good. My day started at 5:30 AM, half an hour before my alarm went off so I would get to church on time. God was making certain I got to church as my son later told me, when I got home that he almost went to his girlfriend's to sleep, but came home instead and found me in the shower and realized what day it was - Sunday. Church was very good. It was mission Sunday, and they had a Skype with a woman who had been part of the congregation, but is now working as a missionary in Russia. It was very interesting to interact with her. I no sooner got home, when I got a phone call from my older son, he needed my help getting his girlfriends moved from her apartment, so I was out the door. A couple hours later I was once again pulling into the driveway, and with it as hot as it was today, I asked my younger son if he wouldn't mind going for ice cream. He considered it an excellent idea. We went to Dairy Queen, had something to eat with the intention we would go over to the comic book store a few doors away and then go back for ice cream. The comic book store was closed so we went to Wal-Mart for a few minutes, and then to Baskin Robbins on the way home for that ice cream. It was time for a show I wanted to watch, which I usually forget because I'm here, so I took time to watch it, and sat down at the computer only to have my grandson ask me if I would take him back to his work because he forgot something. That didn't pan out for him. So I came home, and have been doing what I could on myLot with my data overload, which hasn't allowed me to do very much in four days now. My son came in here about an hour ago and told me that if his friend from work didn't text him back, I would be going with him to see Independence Day - Insurgence - the movie. It starts at 9:55 PM, and as it's just after 9 and his friend didn't text him back, I'll be leaving shortly, so I need to get ready to go out once again. Being late, I'm not going in shorts. I don't want to be mosquito food. So as you can see things are much better between my son and me, which I'm very glad about. And since the computer has been acting up again, after a good half dozen notifications this time, more than I can usually do, I'll say goodnight now, and will do what I can tomorrow. I'll be glad when Tuesday gets here and AT&T gets this data situation taken care of. Thanks for reading. I hope your day has been good.
