Suiseki is another kind of art from Japan (if I'm not mistaken) like the bonsai. But unlike bonsai which is from trees, suiseki is from stones with nature form into different like human faces, animals, flowers among others. Some of the bonsai hobbyists also have this kind of interest. The stones must not be carved by hand or any tools but nature and aged. Like the bonsai, the base is also one important thing in suiseiki. The base where it stands should be suitable for the stone. But not all stones can be qualified for this art because the most preferred are stones that are hard kind.
