Loaded with lots of health benefits, this fruit is season and can be cooked or prepared in many ways. Pineapple. Pineapple is said to have rich in vitamin C, good for keeping a strong immune system. It helps in digestion too and many more. What to with it? Jam or marmalade. I remember we did this on our home economics subject. Meat tenderizer. The reason why i add pineapple chunks on my meat.dishes. From the famous adobo to cooking that pork leg. Eat it raw. Yeah, i can have them raw, i mean after peeling them and removing those "eyes". Lol. How about you? Any pineapple dishes or recipe? *P.S. My older brother dropped by with 6 unpeeled pineapples yesterday, and big pieces. Now, i am thinking of anything what to more with them since it is a lot. Lol

I cut the peeled pineapple into pieces and put in the blender. Then mix it with sugar. 3 cups pineapple syrup and 2 cups sugar. Then bring it to boil until it becomes a jelly. Pineapple jelly. My children really love it.

I love pineapples too. I prefer to eat them raw. To mix it in a dish also good that make the food more delicious.

Soemtimes I am so lazy peeling it then removing the "eyes" one by one; though a friend taught me how to make it easier by just slicing it in four, then scooping out the flesh just like when scooping a watermelon. But so many flesh part were left on the skin part so it is wasteful. I put it in my blender and makes smoothie.

My husband loves pineapple but it looks like pineapples are not good when it is rains. I discovered that all the 3 big ones I bought have rotten parts inside even if they look all good outside. What a waste of money!

I have a big box of frozen pineapple in my freezer. The season is over here so I just got myself a huge bunch of pineapples peeled and sliced them and stored them in my freezer. I use them in my smoothies and in other dishes.

how fortunate fer yer brother to do such. i miss pineapples, they might help with some folks digestion, but not mine, lol. when i'd get some, i'd make juice with 'em - freeze 'em fer "popsicles", a cool 'n tasty treat'n the heat'f summer.

I tend to buy a pineapple, take it home, let it sit on the side for a few weeks and then throw it out. The effort to prepare them is too much.

@Lucky15 Yes :) Saw so many flowers of the pomelo tree last week and now they've become little pomelo fruit. Harvested a big one yesterday and put it in the ref. When we ate it after dinner, it was sweet and juicy finally. The first few fruits over the past 2 years were dry and bitter. Hope the little fruits will mature when my daughters come home in October.
