OMG the best news ever

Well I was a little worried about this months rent cause the apartment complex we live in we have a $100 cap on our electric meaning if we go over that amount we have to pay which that's fine but I was worried cause we had been running the A/C full blast cause of the heat. We normally get our bills about 2 weeks ago and friday is the 1st I was concern so my husband went to office to check and to a much delighted suprise we somehow managed not to go over our cap amount so all we owe is rent. Now we'll get to do something for the 4 of July with the kids. I suspect August will probably be higher but I have time to prepare for that. Im just so happy we can plan something now.

Even in the company i am working , we went over the contracted power for our sub station last April . Thus , for the month of May , we only have air conditioner from 8:00 to 11:00 in the morning and !:00 - 5:00 . It was a bit hot without the A/C but we have to bear it , lest we get penalized again for going over the contracted price .

@AutumnSnow But sometimes , we have to go after comfort so we just let it be . Anyway , you must just have the extra budget for it .

Yeah I've been trying to keep it off as much as possible we have fans going as well to help keep it circulated.

thank you, I've been trying to converse on engery in other ways like keeping lights and tv off when we're not using them and things like that because of the extra use of the A/C. My husband told me today whatever I was doing to keep doing it, lol Guess it paid off so Im happy.
