Yesterday, suddenly at about 4 PM, there was a very heavy rain with very high speed wind, which is normally unusual in my city. It rained like that for only about 10 minutes, but the results were: 1] 20 trees were uprooted 2] 2 persons died 3] 5 cars and 3 bikes were damaged 4] 10 places were flooded 5] traffic jam for 2 hours in many big roads. What was this? how can we predict?

It could have been a weather event where unexpected high winds, and heavy rain occur in a very short space of time.

No one can predict the nature it can come all at once. That's the beauty of the rain. But it causes some trouble to the traffic.

Wow that is scary. I dint know if you can predict this sort of thing, unless the storm showed up on aweather radar. I hope no one got hurt.
