Mop Wars

My husband likes string mops. I like sponge mops. BUT...my sponge mops tend to fall apart if I scrub too hard. His string mop is still together but just barely. It is down to about half of its strings but he won't buy a new one because he says it "still works." Something I argue against every time I have to use it. Scrubbing on my hands and knees works, but with the way my body screams at me I'd rather not do that either if I don't have to. So, I'm in search for a new mop for myself. I would like one that has a removable head that can be washed. But I want the head to be nice a THICK. I don't want a scraggly skinny mop. For it to be self wringing would be great. Do you have a favorite mop or mop brand? How do you clean your floors? (image credit from pixabay

I like a libman with a microfiber washable pad that sort of velcroes on. It has a tank for cleaning stuff on it. Someone left me a swiffer max handle here. I crocheted a cover but it is a little too big for me. I carry a spray bottle of cleaner with me if I use it.

I like the idea of a swiffer, but I think our floor are too old and rough for them do to any good enough job.

I am still using a rag and getting on my hands and knees. I should get a mop for sometimes though. I would want one that goes in the washing machine.

I don't have a favorite mop brand but I do love mopping my floor. It makes me sweat a lot. It's a great form of exercise.
