Im Going VEGAN for 21 Days!

West Haven, Connecticut
June 30, 2016 12:06pm CST
After reading a few cancer articles and interesting findings, im going to try and go vegan for 21 days to see if I see any results! Nowadays almost everything we consume is full of GMO's and chemicals that in the long run contribute to many diseases including many different types of cancers. Red meat and pork meat are probably the worst for your body to digest and you would think Chicken isnt too bad, but back then to eat a chicken you would have to raise it for about 8 months before eating it, now in less than 30 days you have a 15 pound chicken full of chemicals completely un-natural! Wish me luck in my 21 days of going vegan as of tommorrow!

Red meat and pork still are very harmful for humans to consume during a long period of time, colon cancer runs in my family and I want to save myself while I can

I think it will be hard. Most vegans I know did it in stages and were often vegetarians first. Personally if I was going down this route I'd go veggie first then vegan. I could never be a vegan as I'd miss dairy products too much.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I think that's called a pescatarian...if you eat sea food you couldn't be vegan as they eat nothing from animals or produced by animals.

Good luck on your challenge. Too bad I could never go vegan even just for a day. I need my protein from meat and I need fats from pork actually. I have learned that fats turn into energy the fastest when I exercise. I'm a cyclist and I need those food to give me energy. Turning vegan would make me sick and weak.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX With bikers, there won't be any chance for the clogging of the arteries to happen. It burns into energy before the fat solidifies into fat oil and clogs the arteries.

The bad part is that all that animal fat also clogs our arteries and the meat iteself takes weeks sometimes to process and thats what leads to various cancers and diseases, I love meat so this 3 week challenge will either make me or break me!
