Its an Italian Greek Day! / myLot

Good Morning from me, yes guess what? Its Friday! Kalimera everyone and Kalimera Katerina! I have to write an early morning post before I set off to feed the hungry bowlers at the Champ of Champs Competition. Today is Lasange served with small cocktail rolls, a lovely fresh Italian Salad and sweet julienne carrots as a side veggie. In SA everyone expects a side veggie and because Lasange is rich and heavy on its own, I thought the carrots julienne would fit perfectly. I shall give you my feedback tonight. So my cooking is depicting a good old Italian day, yet my thoughts are always in Greece on a Friday . . . they are close on the map so its okay for one day! Happy Friday to you all. It must be quite close at points, across the Ionian Sea. I have only been to Greece once, although I did enjoy the time spent there.

Good morning Lany. This morning hubby has another set of blood tests at the hospital. The day is beautiful, after the hospital we cross the border and we go to eat in Bellagio. I will wave my hand for you passing in front of "George" villa.

@Inlemay We are back, everything is fine with hubby and we had a very pleasant lunch in Bellagio. It is extremely hot today, I am pretty sure we are going to have a thunderstorm.

its a full week-end round robin so we will see plenty of bowling and i have plenty of feeding to do - thank you for the well wishes anyway - I wish I could be there watching the tides of the Aegean sea myself!

I love that you remember Greek Fridays. It's too late for Kalimera so Kalispera Lany. We've just swapped to our summer coffee spot by the sea as it has outdoor fans - but don't tell the teen as he's working further along the beach and expects me to go there!
