Bring on the Rain

We've had very little rain for the last 3 to 4 weeks. The grass is yellowish brown. Much as I've enjoyed the blue sky, we could use some rain. Today is cloudy, but no rain in the forecast. The temperatures have been in the eighties. Not too bad in that department. The one good thing about not having a lot of rain is that it has reduced the mosquito population. I haven't been bitten yet.

Today we finally had some rain here and we needed it also. I am really glad we got some!

Be careful what you wish for! The heaven may grant your wish and make it rain for 3 days and 3 nights, until the rain floods the whole town!

Not likely this year. We had bad flooding of some home's basements a couple years ago.

Shoot, we have not had rain in Southern California in forever.

I've followed the endless drought in California. It's a huge concern.
