My 13 year old cat is beside himself. He is shaking, drooling, and seeking a place to hide. I'm annoyed because I'm getting ready to go to sleep and these booms are unacceptable. I wish the police would actually put some effort into finding the people who are shooting off the fireworks. I mean, it is the same a-holes who do it every single holiday year after year.

Things are popping around here. It will get worse as the weekend progresses. I am probably the only person not shooting off fireworks in this neighborhood.

Poor kitty... And yeah, I don't get why people aren't waiting until the 4th of July, but I'm not getting that here in Dallas TX, so I can't sympathize completely.
