I think I can now understand old people and when it comes to music now. You always hear them say "Where's the real music? I don't understand that mess yall listen too." Or " That ain't music. That's just noise." Well the game of music industry has changed since my high school days a little bit. It used to be T.I. and Hot Boys. Now it's Fetty Wap and Durk.First off these names kids make for rappers or rock bands or whatever is like"Damn...were did you get that name from? Secondly the music itself sounds different. The dances that go with it is different. We went from two-step and four-square dancing to twerking, naw naw ,and dab. Some are ok but there are some that make it look like kids are on crack lol. And a lot of music is the same to me. At least I've heard most in different forms with the same meaning. We need more lyrically speaking artists back in the industry or maybe I ,myself, is getting older and stuck in some of my ways. But I think people haven gotten lazy when producing music. Hell even when signing so-called artists. There should be some change.

The lyrics of the oldies were beautiful. Maybe the young musicians could mis that lyric with their music.

Yes they can. Don't get me wrong some music be good. And they do say some lines from older music which is fine. But a lot of times new kids be just putting a song together and if it sound good its basically a hit.
