I think I may be showing my age but I do agree with people when they say that the old TV shows were the best. Of course nowadays we can watch these old TV shows on Freeview , and I tend to watch a couple of old comedy shows everyday. My favourites at the moment are `On the busses' and `Man about the house'. These shows were originally made during the 1960s and 1970s and I can remember watching them the first time round.

I get in the mood from time to time to watch some old TV shows. But for the most part these days, I look for a good movie to watch.

@millie02 Old movies are cool. And I remember seeing them when they first came out. But I like new movies also.

I agree that some of the old TV shows were very entertaining. Some had some very funny lines, didn't they?

I sometimes like to watch old tv shows too. Especially to laugh about how people dressed back then.

I occasionally like to watch the older shows also as some of my favorites are Hunter, the old Hawaii Five O just to name a few. Not familiar with the ones you have mentioned.

I guess the old TV programs are more things offer like moral values. I also like watching old TV series but still need to cope up with modernization.

A lot of the things that were shocking then are not so bad now.

I think some of them are very dated. The sexism, racism and off colour comments of some of the early British comedies (think In Sickness and in Health, or Love Thy Neighbour). Those make me cringe now.

Most of them were not very PC, but that is what it was like in those days.

I don't know those titles as they are British but agree older TV series are better. I like Are You Being Served?

Yes. Old is always gold. But, it is not clear why this is holding good in all most all walks of life.

We still like to watch the old ones now and then. Usually don't have time for too much TV.
