What would you wish for?

All my life I've thought about what I would wish for if wishes were real. When I was a teenager and we moved away from all my friends and school, I wished for a flying carpet to get back "home". A lot of people want unlimited wishes. I recently hit on the "perfect" wish. So far, I haven't found a downside to this wish. Here it is: Without causing me any harm, I wish to know everything. "Gee, how can I get the kids to pay attention to me?" "Oh, right!" "If only I knew how to cure alzheimers" "Yes." Really, is there a better wish? "How can I lose 20 lbs? I mean, I KNOW how, but really, what can I do to make it really happen? " "Why didn't I think of that before?" This wish wouldn't tell the future, it would be cheating to know the lottery numbers before they're drawn, but so many other questions that could be answered. What would you wish for?

If only I could have this, I would wish to turn back time where I still have my daddy with me. Then, I will be the happiest daughter in the world. If only.

The ability to travel through time would be pretty cool. Though you could create a butterfly effect, if you weren't careful...

@Genipher Yeah, the wish, in my mind, wouldn't include time travel. Just knowledge.

If we lived in Xanth, this would be an awesome talent! You'd probably be Queen with this one! Or take over Humphry's job...

Humphry's job would certainly be easier wouldn't it?

Wishes are very real, I mean religious people call it prayer and spiritual people call it passive persuasiveness-- either way it is very possible to have what we want when we are doing what we need to do.
