I was waiting for the elevator with my mail in my hand. My neighbor walked up talking to a man I know. she was talking to him and he looked at me and asked was that a love letter for him. I said no it's a bill do you want to pay it. He said,no he would rather a love letter. The young girl was still talking to him. He was steady looking me in the face. Back turned to her. I said she is talking to you. he said,I know I can hear her. We get on the elevator and I ignored him. As the elevator stops on our floor I get off and speed walk to my door. she was still talking to him about school. How he could ignore her while she was excited about making some good award was beyond me.. He has to always try that slick mess on me. I will tell him about himself if he does it again. I did not want to behave like a wild woman around my neighbor and even worse a young child.

I never felt good being in the same area as him. I will not ever be alone around him.

@sharon6345 most times I've found it a good idea to trust gut instincts as regards people. Humans do actually have a hardwired threat detection thing in the brain...too often these days we ignore that instinct through politeness and not wanting to seem rude. Very occasionally I've met people who actually made the hair on my arms stand up...I'm not joking. That happens for good reasons (attraction) and bad reasons (threat) and it is always worth taking notice of that initial reaction.

Sounds like he likes you or he's trying to make moves. Reminds me of this time I was at a burger joint. This black guy walks in and I've never had to deal with this sort of behaviour (or to this extent). He literally might as well sat on my lap and the more I ignored him the more he tried (almost like he wasn't use to woman ignoring him). I am not interested in a guy who's all look at this one, and staring at woman.
