Yesterday was awesome!

For some reason, my little ones wanted to go to their dad's house, and my husband and I decided that we should go to the casino last night. Don't worry, we are really responsible gamblers. We always go with $40 a piece, and so far have never left with less than we came in with (knock on wood). We were a little depressed yesterday, because we both got paid, but we didn't even have enough to pay all our expenses. We were short on the storage payment, and it was going to have to wait for two weeks. Well, long story short, I made about $30 on roulette and he made $130 on Blackjack, and we left after only being there about an hour. I get spooked when I start winning, because I don't want to lose. So, I won 4 out of 5 roulette spins, and bailed. It was fun. The slot machines weren't as kind, but I just about broke even. I only spent a few dollars in those. They are big money pits. So anyway, we have money to pay the storage. Yesterday turned out to be a great day!

You are lucky that you didn't lose all your money and came home ahead and then could pay your storage bill.

That is true. We went in with $40 to spend, and weren't going to spend more than that. But yes, we are lucky. I have never been in the position where I spent all my money at the casino. My ex used to do that, and it turned me off for the longest time, from casinos. I don't get caught up in the "gotta win my money back" obsession that he used to. I'm glad I don't have an addictive personality. He was addicted to everything :(.
