Do you still use a pencil or pen to write? I still do but I have to admit, it had been lessened a lot since we already have our phones, tablets or computers.
I remember when I was in grade school. I was always scolded by my mother because my handwriting is not so readable. She has a nice penmanship and she wanted me to acquire that. She wanted me to practice so often.
Even if it was against my will, I had to do it and in school, they said I was one of those who had a nice handwriting. But because of that, I would always be elected as the class secretary or even if I am not, I was always assigned to write on the board. That continued until I was in high school. I was the one assigned by the teacher to write on the board.
My handwriting also changed with time. It's funny that others love to see my handwriting and they appreciate it while me, there are times I can't read it. There were times I was asked if I am an Engineering student because I print well, but no, I am not!
Did you know that our handwritings tell something about us?
In Psychology, they said that if our handwriting slants to the right, we have low self esteem, while if it slants to the left, we have high self esteem.

Yup, that's my own handwriting. I also use pen in writing. I just use a pencil at times when I write some articles or stories. I can erase it if its pencil.

Is the photo above a shot of your penmanship? Then it is so beautiful. So my handwriting slants to the right, so I have a low self esteem? Maybe it's correct.

Awesome penmanship. I like the way your letter "h" and the "of" looks like. It's kinda fancy.

I know about graphology and have studied it. You are right that nowadays that people do not get chance to write. Mobile phones, laptops and tablets have taken away the joy of handwriting.
You have uploaded a picture of handwriting. Is it your handwriting? If it is so, it is like 'print' handwriting, which is not easy to write. It shows that you have some special skills.
I am not in agreement with your last paragraph. The one whose handwriting is leaning towards right is an emotional person and may sometimes get carried away with his emotions. It has nothing to do with our self esteem.

Yes, that is my handwriting...
With the last paragraph, I also don't think that is always true because it also doesn't apply to me. But that's according to my instructor in college so I just shared it with all of you...

What if it doesn't slant at all coz mine is just upright straight?
Though I have gadgets to cater to my writing needs, I have more than 10 planners/journals, and a collection of pens and pencils from Japan. I enjoy writing using those tools rather than just typing.

My signature didn't change since my elementary and highschool days. In fact, it was a lot worse when I applied for a card, and then it became harder when i tried to replace it. by the way, your hand writing is way better than mine, my hands shake if i write for a whie now a days

You have a very nice handwriting. If I am your teacher, I will also let you write lectures on the board.
Here's some of the meaning of handwriting. I just wanna share.
This is from the research carried out by the National Pen Company
Wide loops of L and E means someone is relaxed and spontaneous as well as open minded.
Narrow loops tend to be skeptical of others and may restrict themselves from certain activities, which causes feelings of tension
If the dot of letter i or j is situated high above the base it suggests the writer has a great imagination. If the dot is close to the base, they are organised and empathetic.

Yup, sometimes it also depends on my mood if my writing will slant to the left or right or not slant at all.

I think I believe there is a way to check how our handwriting tells us about our personality or something. I still have use a pen or pencil at times to fill out things.
