Tens of Thousands Still Without Power Here

Yesterday when a horrible storm moved through the area, it knocked out power to over 100,000 people in my city. They have over 1,200 crews working in the area to restore power but they are saying it could still be Saturday before everything is back on. The place I work has no power and one of my friends has no power because trees brought down the power lines to her house. It's a hot, muggy day here and I feel awful for everyone who has no air conditioner today. (Image from Pixabay)

Oh wow, I'm in Ohio and we lost power last night, but only for a few hours. The only time we had a long term power outage was when the remnants of Hurricane Ike came through, that was 3 days of no power.

One of the rooms here has no air. Hopefully some air will be installed. The room belonged to "Mama Daisy" the women who raised Tanikka Paulk. The fans help. Being without power is very uncomfortable. Hopefully all power will be installed soon.
