I just found this news about this 18 year old girl who met her father for the first time after 12 years. While she is trying to build her relationship her dad she ends up falling in love with him and seduced him. Now they wanted to move to New Jersey to get married because Adult incest is legal there.
Her Parents were separated and she reunited with her dad when she turned 18. Instead of feeling fatherly love to her dad though she felt sexual attraction.
I know 18 is considered an Adult but she is still a naive little kid because she is pretty much unaware what is she about to enter. Her Grandparent's on the father side are supportive of their relationship and wanted them to have children.

@simone10 BTW adult incest is illegal in your state, People will be fined 530 thousand dollars if they were guilty. The guilty people will also be jailed for 5 years.
In new Jersey it is Legal as long as you are over 16 years old.

Sadly this isn't the first time I've heard of this. I guess it's legal there but I don't know. I HOPE she's happy forever, otherwise she'll regret the decision and well... that might ruin her.

News like this makes me wish 21 should be the age to consider a person an adult because teenagers do a lot of stupid decisions. The dad here is to blame.He is the adult figure here and he let this happen.

I don't know what to say about this news since it doesn't make a sense. And it makes me feel uncomfortable for a father get married with his daughter. Perhaps they can get married but they can't have children because it is easy to have abnormal babies.

@youless It is official, She is not one of the first ones that admits to it. It is seen as taboo by Americans but some Lawmakers in Alabama and New Jersey managed to make incest legal. Cousin marriages caused a lot of deformed babies, Just imagine how much more deformed it would be if the incest is between parent and child. SIbling incest is the worst one though because the blood relation is 100 percent.
I have a feeling more incestuous people will move to New Jersey. This news already have video footage but I remember Youtube is banned in China....

They don't even care if what they do is wrong. I am also shocked that there is a place in the world where something like this can be legal. They should not be allowed to have children for sure. Also What if the father also considered dating his child/grandchild when it grow up.

@much2say Her dad's parents thinks they were a cute couple according to her. GSA can actually be treated by psychologist. They have that option but they prefer inbreeding.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I have a cosusin who eloped with his cousin. They had 4 children, all of which have now graduated in college and were all normal. Though, every time the wife gives birth before, they are worried that the baby might have abnormality . But they cannot get married though .

We actually have cases of sibling incest and cousins incest here but they were not allowed to marry. If Incest should be legal, I believe the couple should be neutered so they wont be able to have babies.

The only thing I can see here is trouble...and more of it. Granted that she didn't know her father, I don't think it's an excuse to think that you could marry him. I mean, there was a reason why incest is not allowed and frowned up regardless of the circumstances of that family. I just hope some people will see the consequences of such actions before they regret anything.

I remember majority of children with genetically diseases are born out of cousin marriages. We know this case is worst than a cousin marriage. Marrying animals is legal in some countries too.

Incest between adults is not a crime in my country, but marriage is forbidden, except between cousins. Looking at our law I learn that a widow can marry a child of the spouse, if the child is from a previous marriage, with an authorization of our President. It looks like incest to me, although there is no consanguinity in this case.

I think the only way something like this should be allowed to be legal is if the man gets a vasectomy and the women gets ligated. Neutering them is the best way to prevent . I remember there is this Hollywood director who married his step daughter.
here, Muslims can marry their cousins but it is illegal for Christians .

I mean children of cousin marriages have health problems, A child between a father and daughter will have more health problems.
