To Cut or Not to Cut

I have been wanting to cut and dye my hair crazy colors for a long time now. I want to do it now before I end up in a career where I can't do it. Cutting my hair will just help me be able to use less and need less dye. I think I am going to go for a bob cut, just not sure which one.
The dye I am planning on using is called acrtic fox. It is vegan so the dye shouldn't do much more damage than the bleach I'll have to use to lighten my hair. I am hoping it lasts for a good mount of time. I might start with purple because I haven't done purple before or with blue because I have done that one before. I just have to keep saving up for both the hair cut and the dye.
When was the last time you dyed your hair? Have you used arctic fox? Do you recommend any brand of dye?

yes get it out of your system before starting a career or going to college as those places will frown on freaky colors. so now is the time.I
used to use clariol and always dyed my hair ash blonde as that's what i was closest too now my hair is white but a times it still looks like ash blonde and im almost 90

I get my hair colored every 8 weeks i use blond and red highlights. I've never actually dyed my hair before though.

I never tried using a dye for my hair. I've been maintaining its black color since then.
