@Hannihar There are some parts, mainly the city that will put decorations up but it's usually around Christmas time. Which I love seeing. I love seeing Christmas lights and decorations.

When Hannuka comes they have what we call Hannukiahs up above and around the city of Jerusalem ready to light for each day of the holiday.

I'm planning to travel in Holy land, is it safe to travel there? How's the peace and order situation there, especially in Jerusalem?

Larry, I will tell you that it is the safest place to be in the whole Middle East. I feel that way. What do you mean by the peace and order in Jerusalem? Do you mean do we have trouble with the Arabs? Yes, we do, but, on the whole it is a very special place to come see. You should come. When are you planning on coming? Too bad if you are not coming now because Jerusalem is turning 50 and I do not know what they will do, but, it is a great time to be here.

Now,I see your comment Larry. I feel Israel is the safest place to be, but, you should also not wander around at night and go out with more than one person. It depends on where you want to go here. If you are going with a group then stay with them unless you have a day off then go with group members to places to see. It is so much more safer here than Europe or the US.
