Rainbow Calling! / myLot

Yesterday, we have had some fairly good drizzle owing to the ongoing Monsoon season. For those who do not know what Monsoon is... well Monsoon, simply put is what we call the Rainy season here in India. So, yesterday we had a good amount of drizzle and in the evening we were blessed with a lovely sight. A rainbow appeared very close to where I live and was it not magnificent! I managed to take some good snaps of it. The one above is taken by me. "Behold a Rainbow rolling in a pristinely purple sky!"

It so nice indeed to see a rainbow . Here, we have a myth that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow . But seldom though , that we see a rainbow .

What a lovely rainbow - you don't often see them in a perfect arc like that, not in my country anyhow. One end is usually higher.

@JaboUK Yes, most of the time the rainbow appears like a trailing path in the sky. This one was different though but it remained like this for only a short period of time.

I always get a happy feeling whenever I see a rainbow in the sky, and in my mind I hear the lyrics of the song "somewhere over the rainbow". Thanks for sharing.
