She longs to go to New Zealand,
Her visa we hope is not banned,
When pals are in need
She's a friend indeed,
But one of them robbed her and scrammed.

This lady was widowed, brought low,
But did she stay down - goodness, no!
She takes trips and cruises
Herself she amuses
With postcards, and crafts - it's all go.

She once was a banker and teacher
Her smile is a beautiful feature,
Her husband fights fires,
Her girls are high flyers,
You'll be glad if you get to meet her.
4.
'Jerryatric' once was his name,
His jokes are his claim to fame,
They may make you groan,
But you won't be alone
When you laugh at them just the same.
5.
She was a college professor,
Grady her cat does possess her,
She has a quick wit,
And likes to keep fit
She travels a lot - can you guess her?

Several of you have said that you'd like to be included in these, but please don't be offended if I haven't done you yet. As you can see, I only do 5 at a time, (I think that's enough for one post), and there are a lot of you myLotters out there.

I did wonder about using it, but it's such a lovely word and that's what I'm doing - making vignettes about people.
Besides which - I'm running out of titles for this series!

I've had a few discussions now an then with these folks .... you have such a wonderful way of describing people.
I don't see how anyone could be offended because it takes a while for you to create a limerick for them, many you have only just met so it will take you a bit to find that light you always look for in someone.

@rebelann Yes - I have to do a bit of research for each person. If I don't know enough about them I don't just read their posts, I read their activity. I can sometimes get more from comments they make on other people's posts, than I can from their own writing.

Thanks to you, we all get to know more of the members here .. I had the privilege to be amongst your list on bubblews . I am grateful and will never forget .. So I won't feel offended that I'm not included here on MyLot ..

@jaboUK My husband gave me a huge pot of 3 large begonias-red. We just split them up and put them in other planters, he also bought me 12 smaller trailing hot pink flowers to go along with them. The stems on the begonia plants were easily as large as my biggest finger-which is big!

Wonderful "vignettes"! I'm sure everyone who's been included, so far, has felt honored. It's like you're sketching them with words, rather than pencils and a sketch pad.
