Changing hairstyles

Do you like to change your hairstyles often? I personally do. I must say I am quite adventurous when it comes to changing my hairstyles. I would do so about once a year. I think it's a fun thing to do, to look different every now & then. What do you think?

Not much, as I usually wear it long. Couple of years ago, though, I cut it from waist long to a little bubble-headed bob! Now THAT was fun. It's almost back to my waist now, though, because I'm hula dancing again. And you know, ya' gotta' fit the image! LOL! Aloha!

Whoa!!!! My dear, dear friend! You sexy babe :) Yes! Those ladies with the straw skirts, so they are called hula dancers... I just call them the sexy hawaiian babes with long beautiful hair! :)

I change my hairstyle at least once a month. I like to wear wigs and hair weaves. It keeps my boyfriend guessing.

Whoa! Once a month! Good for you! I've never worn a wig, is it hot? We have a tropical climate here & it's hot & wet all year round... Not the best sort of weather for wigs, I guess.

Im not that adventurous when it comes to my hair, I have a fairly long straight hair, i trim it but i dont cut it too short cos i find it very difficult to grow them back quickly, But then i also color my hair when i feel like doing them, not too often as well im afraid i might damage my hair totally.

Yes... I know how it feels like to have to wait soooooo long for the hair to grow. And the more/faster you want your hair to grow, it's just not happening that way. :( Hmmm... you must have really nice, long silky hair eh?

I've had the same hairstyle for ten years, straight hair. I just let it grow then trim it a little. I've decided that when its long enough im going to donate it to locks of love. Its the place that uses others hair to make wigs for cancer patients and survivors. Maybe after I do that i'll change my hair style.

That is such a terrific idea! Do you have many people doing that in your community? I don't think we have such a service here in Singapore though. But I really like that suggestion! Thanks & have a great day :)

Yes it is very fun to change my hair style often if I can but I do have a natural wavy hair and it is very hard to manage if I have a straighter hair so I usually have a same hair style either let it sit on my shoulder or up sometimes :)

Ah, I don't know what is this thing about the Japanese ladies, but they always look sooooo pretty or kawaii in any hairstyles! It's amazing how they can do this! Sometimes, even those young Japanese school girls I see on the streets, even though they are only teenagers, their hair would seem so well cut & groom! May be you have a trick or 2 to share?? ;P

I have not changed my hairstyle in a long time but have had thoughts about it, whether the style or my haircolor. I will have to talk about it with my hairstylist. :-)

Hmmm... you should! You will be pleasantly surprised! I just changed my hairstyle again today! This time, I got myself a perm after having long straight hair for the past year :P

i'm not that adventurous as you...wow! i respect you! i have rather round face so i have to have this long hair for like forever...the only think i would change would be to cut it layered, colouring, perming...that's all..

I used to think like you. I have a round face too. In fact, very round! So I tend to stick to the safe hairstyle. Then one fine day, I don't know what happened, but I decided that if I don't try, I'll never know! So from then on, it's been change, change, change. So far, it's been good! I guess it's more of getting used to. If you & people around you have seen you in a certain hairdo for awhile, they need time to adjust. My friends & colleagues have gotten so used to my frequent change, that if I don't change fast enough, they will ask! *lol*

Yes. I like to change my hairstyle pretty often. This month I want to cut it into a new style. Generally I keep it long though. That’s the only constant. It’s sometimes curly, sometimes plaited/braided, sometimes straight. I get tired of having the same thing too long. I had the same style for years in high school, so I don’t want to get stuck like that again.

Yes, I feel bored sticking to the same hairstyle for too long. Call me vain, but I like the feeling of walking out of the salon with a nice, new hairdo. And then when your friends & colleagues see you, they go hmm... nice hair! :)

Ah, that's a misconception my friend. Changing hairstyle will not damage your hair. You don't necessarily need to subject your hair to any chemical treatment in order to change the style. A good stylist can give you different cuts to change your look. Also, taking proper care of the crowning glory will prevent/treat damage. :)
