Made a batch of pesto this morning.

Good afternoon.Been a very busy guy this morning.
Pick basil from the garden and made pesto.Mike sister is coming over tomorrow night for linguini with pesto.nothing like fresh.I am so please with the outcome.
The heat wave is creeping in.
Have anyone here ever made pesto.?this is so easy to make.
The one that they sell in the market are expensive and not as good as home made.

@LeaPea2417 Give it a shot.You also can make pesto with parsley or mixed them up.

i adore pesto, the hubs dislikes such immensely :( i hope that'cha've a few bites fer lil ol' me :) lovely pic, sorry to hear 'bout'cher heat wave. 'twas only 100 degrees here thursday. july's outdone 'erself this year.

Although I like pesto we've never made it and don't often have it. I bet your home-made pesto is yummy.

Pasta with pesto is one of my favorites. I usually buy it from a favorite restaurant. I know how to cook but because I do not have much time to spare except during weekends. But when I have time to cook, I make sure I put some nuts for texture and strips of grilled chicken also.
