Came Home To No Power

We went shopping this morning, left earlier than normal to try and beat the heat. Everything went along fine. When we came home and started putting up the groceries we noticed the air conditioner wasn't on. Then none of the lights came on. I called the power company and said power had been off since 1030 am and should be back on by 730 pm. Said trees on power lines caused the outage and it affected about 200 residents in the city limits. Thankfully they got power back up and running by 430. Trouble is with heat index it felt like 103, and its taking forever to get our home cooled back down. Here's hoping no more trees fall on any power lines in the near future. Hope your day has been cool and blessed.

Summer is one of the worst times to lose power. I'm glad it wasn't off past today. One time my aunt left her AC setting too high before going on a weekend trip. When she returned, her house wouldn't cool down for a long time. I hope yours does soon.

Our electric company is becoming less and less reliable:/.

Yesterday it has been a hot day, but during the night we had a thunderstorm, today is fine, it's raining right now with a cool air from the north.

That is quite a long time to be without power especially when it is so hot.
