Good morning/evening/afternoon everyone! I was finally able to get a good photo of Daisy while she was still. Actually she was asleep as you can tell by the picture.
I'm sure some of you can tell how much she has grown. I was looking at some pictures of her yesterday when we first got her and she was so tiny...barely a handful. She was smaller than some of her toys.
She may be a year old now but in certain ways she still acts like a puppy. She loves to play and likes to do things that aggravate as she thinks it is just so much fun. Such as biting at her blanket when I am trying to fold it up in her bed.
Her Vet has said that she has never seen a dachshund her color before. I don't know if you can really tell by the photo but she is a very light red. I love her color and think it is unique.

@simone10 .. OMG... I remember all our puppie who went through that stage.. So frustrating indeed.. But then they settle down and they are so much fun.. Enjoy!

@epiffanie Thankfully she did settle down and although she has her mischievous moments, overall she is the sweetest dog.

Thank you! Fortunately she is over biting and chewing on shoes and other things. She loves playing with her toys instead. For a while though (when she was younger), we were very frustrated because she kept wanting to chew on the woodwork in the living room.

@Marilynda1225 She is very sweet but she can be so mischievous. She likes to play all the time and sometimes when she gets into trouble, she thinks it's all fun. It makes it hard to discipline her because it's hard to not laugh at her.

Oh, she is beautiful and I can't believe how fast she has grown. I remember her as this tiny little pup, now look at her.

@simone10 I remember, it is amazing. Like my girls (as you can see in my profile pic, are a good size) but when we brought them home at 6 weeks old, both fit under my couch and my plant stand. Now only their paws fit under both. lol

@Carmelanirel2 It's the same here. We have a huge square ottoman in front of our couch. When we first got Daisy, she would run and hide under it when she was playing with Bella because she knew Bella couldn't get her. Recently Daisy tried to get under it and only her head fits.
