I am loving the Grammarly add-on for Chrome

I decided after I heard about this addon from another MyLotter to get the Grammarly addon for Chrome. It has been a big help with not only my client work but on my blog and even here on MyLot since it tells you what need correcting in both your posts and your comments. While it doesn't catch everything it is much better than I expected and my grades on my client work has been higher with it than when I was editing my own work. Not quite as good as when my friend was editing for me but she is just too busy this summer to do it If you have't tried it , it is free and easy to download.

I gather it checks for both grammar and spelling mistakes. How long have you had it? I only ask because I noticed a spelling mistake in your title a couple of posts ago. Does it only work for Chrome?

@MarshaMusselman Thanks Marsha, but I seem to get on well without it. (I remember what I was taught at school).

@jaboUK I didn't enjoy those subjects when I was in school and English wasn't one of my good subjects. I've learned a lot since then, and a few years ago I took a course on comma usage which helped a lot, but here is so much to know with that In fact, if I didn't have to know the comma placement, it would be much easier editing more books.

Yes, I have been using it and it helps me to correct my grammar mistakes. Even though it does not sees all but it definitely makes our work easier to read. Did you avail its premium package?

@silvermist Two of my bushes are purple and one is white. They had lots of buds and were in full bloom for several weeks. They are all gone now;

lol Thank you but I run on, I forget commas and never pause so that is where it really helps me. Plus it knows some grammar rules that I ignore so it reminds me!!

That's good to know. I've used it in the past but I thought there was only a free trial period so I never took full advantage of it. I'm glad you're seeing a higher grade from your clients as a result.

@BelleStarr Commas are my downfall too as well as the semi-colon. I never know when it's proper to use it.

I need to check that out. Grammar has always been an issue when I'm writing. My husband edits my manuscripts but I don't have anyone editing the small stuff. I need to do something. I miss too many little things.
