Border Police Were Nice

Last week, my two sisters went on vacation to a relative in Canada, and on their Facebook post, they said they were happy how the border policemen treated them so nice when they decided to cross to the USA.
They said the policemen greeted them politely with all smiles saying:Filipinos are nice!
It is one of the positive things that our fellowmen should keep in mind because good deeds can get good results, and negative acts can result to negative impressions too!

Thanks a lot, @Juliaacv. It is one of the reasons why Canada is a favorite among Filipinos. Many of them chose to live and work there.

Thank you Jabo for that nice compliment. I am happy Filipinos abroad act the way they should in foreign lands because whatever they do will be reflective of the whole people here. Yes, my sisters were glad, they were able to come to New York without fuss; they will be staying in a friend's home there and probably visit my youngest sister at the Midwest; she is a teacher there.

They said the guards were all smiling at them so they also smiled from ear to ear! ha ha ha!

Always good to here nice stuff about the authorities.
Everyone I know who has ever been to Canada liked the officials there...not so much in the US particular the transport safety people.

Yes, they were so thankful for the nice treatment they got. Anyway, it is just expected of authorities to be so careful or strict specially those on the borders for security reasons.
