Roadwork and Flimsy Boxes

I had a powerful craving for some donuts and not just any donuts but Dunkin Donuts this morning after church. My problem was I was also very hungry right after church, which I usually am. So instead of going for donuts I went straight home, found the fruit trays I bought yesterday in the fridge - I wish now I hadn't bought them. Fruit from Wal-Mart just hasn't been the greatest lately and neither is the fruit in the tray. So anyway, after half a tray of passable fruit and making my goals on Swagbucks I took my Sunday afternoon nap and then went to Dunkin Donuts. The most common sight to see anywhere in Green Bay are roadwork signs. They seem to be everywhere. So as I was going the easy way to the only Dunkin Donuts shop in the Green Bay area I ran into a road closed sign. Yep, not even a lane to go through, the whole road was blocked, so I had to go the long way around to get there. I'm glad I know that today as I might be going in that direction again tomorrow, not sure yet, as my daughter lives that way and it's the shortest way to her house. Now I need to take the long way there. So anyway I finally get to Dunkin Donuts and it's the middle of the afternoon and there is a limited selection. And I mean limited. So instead of ordering at the window, which would have been the easy way as I walk with a cane now, I went in to see what they had. Selected my dozen and then had to figure out how to carry their flimsy box out to the car with my cane. And then had to carry said box into the house. It wasn't easy. I'm sure it would have made a good video for America's Funniest Home Videos. At any rate I did make it home, taking another unexpected detour from the donut shop home. If it weren't for roadwork it would be real easy to get around where a person needs to go instead of going ten miles out of the way just for a donut. So now after all that, I'm going to spend the rest of my day with you all, interacting. Yes, I know that means I'm not packing. So how is your Sunday, or is it already Monday by you?
