What a disastrous day today in our family. My nephew, a BS Psychology graduate in a private and known university in our city, surrendered to police station for his involvement with illegal drugs. It seems we are struck with thunder when we learned from our brother-in-law that their son took drugs when he was in Grade 6 (Elementary level). My nephew told his parents that a male teacher in the Education department of the same university where he enrolled was the one giving him and some of his classmates’ illegal marijuana, until that teacher sold them sachet of shabu during his high school and college years. My nephew was a university band soloist and finished BS Psychology 3 years ago. It’s a shame, shame, shame to our family, friends and distance relatives. I was crying here awhile ago in our faculty office when my sister called me that their son surrendered to police. I told her why they failed to monitor their only son and why didn’t they sense their son as a drug addict? My sister told me that she detected it but ignored because she cannot think that their son got involved with drug. My sister said that that drug pusher teacher is still teaching there in the university where my nephew finished his nursery, kinder, elementary, high school and college. I am going to see my nephew in jail after my class today. I will also go to National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to blotter there the teacher that pushes drugs to innocent children. If they cannot act on this drug pusher teacher, I will call PNP Chief “Bato” de la Rosa so this teacher will be on surveillance and if possible killed if resist arrest. Will it be legit if see this teacher in the university where he is teaching or not, instead, talk to the University President? I am so mad with that teacher now. I want to cut his neck. @cacay1 Don't rush into speaking to the teacher (even though you are upset). You need to hear all the sites and will they press charge on the teacher. I don't get, why your nephew came forward? Was there a suspicion or what happen?

Do not cut the teacher's neck, you will end up in jail. (Joke po). Just report it to the police for them to do their job.

@cacay1 Have you done the report? It is better to make the report while the teacher is in the office.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm also shocked to hear that he got them from his teacher, no less! I'm not sure how to approach the situation, but if ever you push through with your plan, make sure to get protection for your nephew and the family. I pray that your family will get through this.

I am so sorry.. Its hard to accept that someone in the family is into such things. Don't worry when they investigate your nephew further they will know that the source is somewhere else and get to it. I am glad that your nephew surrendered and accepted his fault.

I can understand your anger. I'm so sorry you found out in a shocking manner about your nephew. It's a real shame, and to get it from a teacher is worse. I agree with you about going to the NBI and to the university about it. I hope he's fired and put in prison for his actions.

@cacay1 That would be good to get him off the streets, away from teaching and students, and get the help he needs as well. I hope they throw the book at him. I'm glad your nephew is in rehab.

Now I am upset reading your post my friend. What a heartless teacher! He should be the one guiding his students to be a better citizen. If in case it's true he is the pusher, he should be picked up and put in jail.
