My little fellow is not so happy

Our older son was here to spend the day with us on Sunday. He petted and pampered Spark our little ShihTzu , played ball with him and even slept with him. Early this morning he left for work and my little fellow is not so happy.
He is moping and refusing to play or eat anything. In fact he has been lying next to my sons bed all morning. He doesn't want his teddy or his bone... they are lying forlorn in a corner near his bed.
He is usually like this on Monday mornings .. as everyone leaves home for school or work and he is stuck with plain old me. Spark is back to being himself by Monday afternoon as he starts looking forward to the return of my younger son and husband.
Its so cute to watch him with his head between his paws and looking at me from the corner of his eye refusing to follow me around as he usually does.
Silly dog.. he will be fine again. If you thought Monday morning blues was only for humans think again.

@marguicha They like more activity.. Dogs do love children better but come to us for their needs. I won't roll on the floor and pamper him like my son does.

Talk about attachment @sofssu ; my cats could give a hoot if I was gone all day. But then that's the difference between cats and dogs.

@nanette64 LOL I have had a cat too but that was a looong time ago.. I don't remember exactly how he was then, I guess he didn't care a hoot either.

Our dogs are the same way. They lay around all day but when my daughter comes home from work they go crazy.

She looks super cute ! Shih Tzus are very cute dogs and they are intelligent . And they are also jealous if you give another dog more attention .
And yes , they also feel like that when most of the people are not around . They really are like humans that have feelings .

It is amazing how animals react about when people they love are gone. I think they show it more than humans. It was good reading your post. I used to read yours all the time, back in the day on another. site. I was just like books.

@Icontechnologies when he has Monday morning blues even his favorite food doesn't cheer him up. He needs to see the others come back home.
