I wanted to tell you something but I might have told you already!

I cannot remember all my posts. Every so often I think "That would be fun to share on Mylot" and then begins the wondering. "Did I already say that?" Have I told you Grandpa had a donkey on the sands that he won in a bet. He gave donkey rides at Eastbourne where I have just been for a break to see a friend. Grandpa worked in a big hotel there, "The Cavendish." We opened an old family box recently and found a reference from the Manager in it. While he was there, he decorated the dining room and got very annoyed with a man who got in his way. It seems the man was the King of somewhere. Meanwhile, when my Dad had mumps he was sent to my Great Grandmother. She looked after Budgerigars injured in magic acts. I am sure I said that before, or did i?

Good point. Sometimes I wonder if I posted about something before too. Anyway, I hadn't read these things before now so you could expand on them in my case. Won the donkey in a bet? Did you ever get to ride his donkey or was it before your time?

The donkey was before the war so when my Dad was a boy. Nobody remembers what the bet was for.

@Jackalyn I am sure it was a great story, once upon a time.

I've never heard all that before, and very entertaining I found it. Lol about 'the King of somewhere'!
