Theives putting stones on driveways

I saw this on facebook how it is happening in this area. Mind you the area it is happening is the rich stuck up towns. So honestly I am not worried about my area, or even locking my doors. They put stones infront of the garage doors,and if they are moved meaning someone is coming and going whereas if they stay then someone hasn't been home. I said well I don't use the garage and probably wouldn't notice the stone there either (as I don't park in it).

That would make sense, assuming they put the stone at the correct tire spot when someone reverses or comes in it'll move.

Thieves or robbers are actually quite creative and they always come up with new ideas on how to steal things from others. It would be so nice if they use their creativity in a good way.

Maybe some signs would help. A surveillance camera is watching you. This area patrolled by a private security force. I don't know. Why is it that everyone thinks they should live off of someone else's labor?
