A meal of a bachelor

After a tiring day, I reached my home, home which I had bought. Its relaxing after you step on your own property, the place on this mother earth which is linked with your name. The joy soon went off, as I realized that I am going to be alone now. My parents had moved with my younger brother to his house. I always been an independent child, so, my parents never worried leaving me alone in the house. I changed my clothes and freshened up. Now blankly looking around the house, I entered kitchen, and asked myself what's on the menu. In the afternoon, I had chicken with indian bread, so some rice would do for the night. Google has become my survival guide, so, I started checking for easy meals. Biryani, pulav look fabulous and didn't have too much of complexity. After checking the required ingredients, I started hunting for each in kitchen. My mom never allowed anyone to enter kitchen, nor she left us alone without food. So, it was a first time for me!! I could find few quickly and some still escaped from my eyes. Finally, I thought of settling down to make something with available ingredients. And I hit a jackpot, dal khichdi. Easy to make, healthy, will have lesser chances of failure. With the help of google GURU, I finally arranged a plate full of dal khichdi. It was an achievement for me!!! I felt like victorious warrior, I feasted on it till my tummy took a round shape!!! It wasn't bad for a beginner like me. After meal, and cleaning, while I sat to watch TV, one question peeked up in my head. What about tomorrow?
