Finally, we are having a good and cooler Canadian morning. Will be doing some gardening a little later on and take advantage of it.
Just read about the fires in California, it is so sad. I am sending some positive vibes for them to get some rain as soon as possible, if not sooner!
It is so unfair that in some parts of the world, there is too much rain and in other parts too much dryness. Not fair at all.
Enjoy the day that is given to you!

The temp is lower and it's very cloudy but the wall of humidity still exists.

Glad you've got some relief. Thanks for your good wishes.
We're about 70 miles south from the Sand fire. We can sometimes see the smoke. This bear is really amazing, growing despite everything that's being done to combat it. While the temperatures are high, the wind is (happily) minimal. It's a measure of how dry the landscape is after nearly a decade of drought.

We are sitting on a tinderbox here in SoCal and the worst is probably yet to come.

No, it isn't fair. It is very dry here and we have very low humidity. There are two fires going right now. Gusts of wind and lightning strikes are not helping. I don't think people realize that the underside of cars can cause fires too.

@marlina .....They get hot and when the cars goes over some brush or whatever it can cause a fire.

I think the weather is freaking out all over the world. Lately it's been raining cats and dogs here when usually at this time of the year it would be really hot and devoid of rain.

@marlina I think it has something to do with us human beings doing things that we shouldn't be doing to "alter" and "control" the climate.

hope ya enjoyed yer gardenin', hon. yepperz, those fires 're somethin' else :( been hittin' all 'cross 'round here earlier this month, 's well 's nevada 'n other states. there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to the rains. the monsoon flow that usually hits blocked by high pressure systems that refuse to move. so many places'n drought, 'r like 's 'n headed back to such - whilst others get hammered by massive floodin'.
perhaps mother nature thinks we humans 've been most unfair'n our treatment 'f her gifts'n 'tis strikin' back?

You would think that the rain would be equally dispersed throughout the world so no one is getting too little or too much

The weather is a little cooler here today - a pleasant (to me) 21 C. We complain a lot about the rain in England, particularly given how the climate seems to be changing, but I'd rather be with it than without it. It would be good to have rather less of it here, however!

We pray that rains come to California to relieve them of too much heat and forest fires.

I am in SoCal and the air is foul from the fires. Enjoy your crisp Canadian air.

You've posted a beautiful photo. I must go to the news and find out more about the fires.
