In other countries, some insects are eaten. Even here in the Philippines, some people in other places here also eat insects. Edible insects include cicadas, dragonflies, crickets, flying ants and silk worms. They are boiled, sauteed, roasted or most of the time fried. They are called exotic foods. I have heard many stories about these edible insects. They said they are delicious, tasty and creamy. But the one that really caught my attention was this Fried Tarantula. It is black , hairy and I know they are poisonous. Yes people eat big hairy chunky spiders. Tarantulas can be barbecued, grilled, fried or served on a stick. It is said that this delicacy is popular in Cambodia. Have you tried or seen fried tarantulas? Are you going to eat it if it will be served in your meal?

I think it is quite a challenge for me to try the insects. I know they can be edible, but I just don't get used to it.

I'd rather eat bananas or root crops than eat insects LOL!

NO way! I don't care how exotic or how well they present the food on a plate, I won't even if they paid me for eating them!

That's true. They are insects. They crawl on anything and anywhere. I think, many of us cannot really take them as food.
