Is it rude?

I have a bad habit of eating at my computer desk and taking mouthfuls in between doing whatever it is I may be doing at the time. Is it rude to chat to people online while you are eating? As kids we are told that it is rude to chat with a mouthful. Does this apply in this situation? Also, how many of you out there are guilty of the same bad habit? Is bad when a person can not even drag themselves away from their computer to eat.

Hi psy,I do it all the time lmao. What they don't see won't hurt them.I don't think it's rude,it's not like you are actually talking and spitting food all over the monitor lol. When my kids aren't home I frequently eat while I am on the computer.

Haha... I'm guilty of eating at my computer table as well! :P I guess it's fine this way, unlike when you talk to someone face-to-face, then it would be rude to talk with your mouth full. At the computer, whether you are typing and email or chatting online or simply browsing the net, no one can tell whether you are eating or not :) Have a good day...
