I Really Can't Believe It

I read online so many people saying they are going to vote for the Donald. They say it is the "best of two evils" and such comments. I can't beleive that respectable, seemingly smart individuals really want a man like this in the office of Presdent. They really want a man who leaves his fellow businessmen behind and just moves on and doesn't pay them. They want some like him who disrespects judges and talks the way he does about Muslims. Wants them not allowed in the US. They really want someone who want to put up a wall to keep Mexicans out of America. This is America people. We need to stand to gether and not let some guy who has a ego problem into the office. We need someone who will work for us, not against us. I feel sick to my stomach even thinking about him being in office. Hillary has been in service for fourty years Helping children who are handicapped get an educations. Setting up programs to teach woman how to prepare their children for preschool. She has held two offices and also been the first lady. Sure she made a mistake or two. Who hasn't in fourty years? But look at Trump. Bankruptcies, mouthy about Muslims and refugees, disrespectful of Judges , disrespectful of women, and says he wants to hit the Democratic nominee for VP. No tact, no respect. The only one Hillary gets down on is him. How is he going to be with foreign policy when he is so quick to bad mouth Muslims, Mexicans and Latinos? Come on people don't be stupid. Vote for someone that has experience and clout. Sure he's a businessman but it takes more than that to be president. They have eight years in there at the most. We need someone in office that can hit the floor running, not a person who only knows business and not anything else but ego, threats and bad mouthing people. When it really comes down to it we are going to need someone who knows how to get things done in the future. Not a newbie starting from scratch.

What you say sounds logical, but if you're advocating Hilary, she makes me want to vomit. No, I'm not for Donald either. I haven't made a decision yet on this election. I can't stand either one of them. I need to hear something that makes sense to me, and so far I haven't heard that.

I would think that having someone in office, if for no other reason, who have experience would be good reason to vote for Hillary. I don't know why you feel so strongly against her.

@celticeagle Experience isn't everything. I would want to see someone in office who truly cares about this nation and puts the people ahead of his or her own agenda. I hear a lot of WORDS but so far that's all they are. To me Hillary's record speaks for itself - against her, not for her. I've seen what you've written about her and the things she stands for, but there needs to be more than that to qualify to lead this country. They might have made good speeches to try to persuade the country to vote for them, but when you step back from those speeches and hear what they didn't say, that speaks more loudly than their words every could. No, I'm not a Hillary fan, nor a Trump fan. When it comes to the election this November I'll be voting for the lesser of two evils, at least I hope so. Either way, this country needs a ton of prayer regardless of who gets in office. We're going to need it if we're going to make it through the next 4-8 years in one piece. I really hoped it would have been Bernie Sanders who would have gotten the nomination.

He is an entertainer alright.. but will he make a good president and a statesman I am not sure.. He runs off at his mouth and is not even sure of what he says.... he doesn't have the finesse of a statesman to handle international matters.. I would never vote for such a person.

No, he has no finesse at all. As far as I can see he is a joke. Nothing that we need in office. Glad to hear you wouldn't vote for him.

I am Canadian, so I should not poke my fingers to American politics. But if you ask me who should I vote if I were an American citizen . . . I would enthusiastically yell - - "Go, Trump, go!" Just kidding you!

I agree. Hillary is a little stiff, not as slick as that other Clinton, but I think most of the complaints against her are "trumped up." She is capable, understands government and is not insane, unlike her opponent.

A lot of the issues again Hillary have been over dramatized. Your last sentence sums it up nicely.

As shocked as you are, there are many reasons you do not cite here, that people will be voting for trump. You see this is America and people can vote for whoever they want to, even if you think they are an idiot for their choice. That is freedom. Back when people voted for Bush, many of us were flabber gasted how someone could support such and evil man. Even if I thought they were ignorant, it didn't change anything. So even if you think those people are stupid, it has no effect in stopping trump from becoming the president.

@antonbunot .....ANd because they know what Hillary has they should vote for her. Why vote for a newbie that is a racist and is egocentric to boot? I certainly wouldn't want such a person representing the country.

That is so true. I have 'cited' a lot about him. But if people want that sort in office I pity them. And Trump has done nothing to show he is in for America. To make it better. He says to leave it all to him and he will take care of it all. How? Never tells us how. Just says he has a lot of ideas. I hope that people learned with the Bushes. Yes, you do have a right to your opinion I just hope you make the right one.

@celticeagle . . . America should vote for Trump to find out what he got. Americans know already what the Clintons got.
