Good morning Bubblews….. *looks around a little confused* Hold on a second. What is this place? This is not Bubblews. Whats going on here? Good morning myLoters. How is every one doing? I hope every one is having a good day so far. Before I start making any posts I thought I would introduce my self, since it looks like I can not edit my bio. First off I am a Bubblews refuge. I was here on myLot years ago way before Bubblews and now I am back. I know there has to be a lot more Bubblews refuges here. Right? I know there is at least one person I know from Bubblews, Hi @tammys85 *waves*. I am not really a writer or blogger and I am not here for the money, but that is a nice little extra. I am a fan of movies, Anime, video games, baseball, hokey, rugby and pro wrestling. Those are some of the tings I will write about a long with whats going on in my little world. Most of my posts tho may wind up being about pro wrestling. That is what I know and have a passion for. So if you are not a fan of movies, anime, video games, sports or pro wrestling you may want to avoid my posts like the Bubonic plague *lol*

At least you said hi @jaboUK I might read more of his stuff if it's about a movie I like but I hate sports so I couldn't form a discussion.

So a fellow Texans who's also a wrestling and anime fan... And I'm not sure if you're okay with being called a "mark" or and otaku, given the reputation those names carry. Same with being called a "gamer," if the jaded Gen-X gamers are anything to go by...

@Hanyouyomi I use to have a problem with being called a "mark" when I did a little ref work years ago but we are all "marks" for something right? I have never seen my self really as an otaku but I am fine with that label as well as the label of gamer. I am even ok with being called a geek or nerd.

@TigerMask81 I see... So far as being referred to as a "mark" goes, I'm not sure what happened. I get the problems with the terms "otaku" and "gamer" as the steeotype for those is a basement dwelling manchild who lives in their parents' basement. But a mark? I'm at a loss. Though I think it might have something to do with pro-wrestling being *sigh* "fake."

@Hanyouyomi Not sure how much of the carny history you know, but a lot of wrestling terms like mark and kayfabe came from the carny. My understanding of the term "Mark" is that at the carnaval an employ who was dressed like every one else would walk around with a little chalk and when they saw some one that looked like that had a lot of money would put a little chalk mark on the persons coat. So when the barker saw the chalk mark on the jacket they knew the person had money and most likely could be coned out of some of that money. So in wrestling, back in the days, yes it was fake, but the fans thought it was all realm so the fans where called marks by the promoters cause they could be coned out of there money to come see the fake fights that they (the fans) thought where real. I think now a days "mark" is not meant as a derogatory statement like it was years ago. I see it more like another way of saying your a fan. Like I was talk to a guy at work about wrestling and I told him that I was a mark for Shinsuke Nakamura. He knew what I was saying. Or when I told him I marked out for Devitt when I read he was called up tot he Raw roster. He knew I was saying I was excited that Devitt was getting a cahnce to go up to the main roster now and not stay in NXT.

@tammys85 I found a few faces I knew and really enjoyed talking to on Bubblews. Might have to make another trip to your list when and or if I can remember some of the other people I enjoyed reading and talking to. Right now I am drawing a blank on a good part of that. I got you, Plethos and Scott and I think some one else, so I think I might be good on former Bubblews friends right now lol.

Whenever I make a discussion about pro wrestling, Anime or videogames, I always have comments from people who dont want them and they just post there to rub it in my face. PS Universal championship belt looks ugly.

@TigerMask81 Though Millennials are annoying, Mylot needed more Millennials because they were the ones who can make geek topics enjoyable. I think Mylot needed a balance between baby Boomers, Gen x and Millennials. That belt wont look awkward on Nakamura. Its a bootleg version of his Jacket.

@CaptAlbertWhisker : I know I had to put a few people in there places over at Bubblews when I posted stuff about wrestling. Seems like wrestling, anime and video games have a bad rep. Oh well. We like what we like. I think they just cut up one of Nakamura's jackets for the universal championship title lol.

I am hoping to get back in to the sewing of things and make more posts here. Just between getting some what burnt out from Bubblews and my job it's a little rough trying to make posts here. I think I need to get a game plane made up, like I had at Bubblews, get some stuff typed up and saved and then on my days off post them.

@Plethos not sure if it was after Bubblews went under that I got moved from dishwasher to cook at my job or if it was during the last few months of it's life...but with the move to cook a long with a good bump in pay and feeling a little burnt out after Bubblews closing I figured I stay away from this stuff. Then on twitter is saw a post from Tammy about mylot so I thought I give this stuff another go for a little extra spending money. I know there was a few of you guys that I wished I was able to keep tabs on from Bubblews. At least I found three of the people I enjoyed talking with over there, you, Tammy and Scott (who posted some where below on this post) even tho I have Tammy on twitter and Scott on facebook, but I am crap when it comes to keeping in touch with people on both sites. Still vaping. Smoke more to and from work and at work but try for the most part to vape at home or if I am out and about. Need to try harder to kick the cigs again.

Who were you when you were here before? Yes, you can edit your bio, go to settings and you will find it under "edit profile". I am also a Bubbs refugee, but loved myLot long before that. We may not have much in common, but I am willing to wait and see.

So, do you enjoy discussing things? Bubbs was so boring really, all we did was write an assay and people would comment stupid stuff like "good post" or some such nonsense, at least here we can have a discussion or even a friendly debate. What kinda movies to you generally watch?
@rebelann (111164)

Yeah, that bugged me too @TigerMask81 Some folks on bubbs did start discussions but they were few and far between ... but here its so much more fun, sometimes people get to pickin on each other in a funny sorta way and that kinda discussion can go on for months, I refer to those as threads. I haven't seen any Asian films but then I'm into mostly Syfy anyway.

@rebelann I really hate to call my self a movie buff, I don't think I know any thing about movies outer then I know what I like, but a lot of my friends think I am so sort of movie buff when they flip through my binders of dvds and all. Honestly I have no idea what genres I am in to any more. I just hate the fact that on top of the genres you have sub genres and sub sub genres etc. To me movies are just that movies. Of the top of my head I can think of two SyFy (SiFi?) movies I own, "2001 a Space Odyssey" and "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" and I am really not sure if Dr. Strangelove falls in to syfy or not. I know I have more syfy movies in my collection. If you ever want to venture in to Asian films hit me up and I can give you the names of a few movies I think are worth watching. I got a question for you. What was the first syfy movie you saw that made you a fan of that genre?

@rebelann That is one of the things that bugged the heck out of me over there was the "good post" bs. The few friends I had there I could have discussions with. Yeah I enjoy a good discussion and friendly debates. As far as movies I watch any thing and every thing really. I love Asian films the most.

Im an original from gather, then red Gage and then bubblews. I miss gather but not the other two. I was here in the beginning of my lot but gather took my heart then it crashed and burned now Here I am back to mylot. It complicated for me to navigate but its good to see how a lot of people from the other sites made it here., I will drop by your movie posts..

Thank you for stopping by @cyberrat . I did not mind Bubblews to much until the end of it's run. I understand sites like this will have it's ups and downs and some sites don't last long. I saw so many people not getting there money from Bubblews, I was lucky every time I was able to cash out I got my money. I want to think Bubblews could have made it if they where just up front about a lot of things. If they where I think people would understand. Yeah some people would of jumped ship to other sits but the loyal users would of stayed.

@JohnRoberts Lived out here for 4 years now and still have not been out to the Buddy Holly Museum. I hated this town for so long. Ok not hated more disliked really. Went out to Ft. Worth to see some family a few week ends ago and when I got back I realized I missed Lubbock and not dealing with as much traffic as the DFW area.

@TigerMask81 The Buddy Holly Musuem is good. Also went to his grave. It seems the town's identity is wrapped on Texas Tech. It was Red Raiders everywhere.

@JohnRoberts I'll have to go check out the Buddy Holly Museum my next day off. This town LOVES them some Tech. I know any time Tech plays and they got the game on at work I root for the other team. Then again I don't care for collage sports.
