How could any sane person abort their child?

What if you are only a young girl of say 11 years old and have been raped? Would you want that child to go through child birth and then raise a baby whose DNA you know nothing about?

It is sad that anyone would want to abort their child but they must have a reason for doing it.

I hate that anyone could, i don't think it is sane.

i think it depends on the circumstances, there could be many good reasons not to have child.

Well, people who do abortions usually are not in a rational state of mind when doing so. They are in a panicked mood because of all the adrenaline rushing through their body, so they make a decision they usually regret sometime later in their life.

It's not a child, it's a pregnancy. An early termination takes place long before there are life-sustaining organs formed and long before viability. It is no more a "life" than a fertilized egg is a chicken. Women choose to have abortions for a variety of reasons. It's not anyone's business what those reasons may be. But it comes down to a simple unifying reason, at this time this woman choses to not be pregnant. Whatever her reasons are beyond that, others should respect her decision based on that reason alone.
